For these positions you will need to be an experienced Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant or worked in a care environment. Ideally you will have worked with young pupils with SEN/Behavioural needs or have a personal interest to work in this area. Depending on the role you can be working across all age groups in the Primary setting (EYFS-KS2) these pupils will vary in their academic and social ability. When working with these pupils you are responsible for making all work accessible according to each individual, alongside with working on their social and academic skills. These positions are extremely rewarding and are perfect for a caring, patient and determined individual.
