Fast growth Dorset based business requires Quality Controller, £28-32k + bens and progression opportunities.

Your new role
In this position you will further develop the Quality Control function. You will work with suppliers to approve PSI Inspections (Pre-Shipment Inspections), book 3rd party QA Inspections, assess product quality feedback and present findings to the business to support ongoing improvements, apply best practice to achieve recognised Quality Standards (eg ISO9001), conduct Quality checks at Warehouse and Production facilities (eg AQL/ Acceptable Quality Limit checks), and approving Quality post Production.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have experience in a similar role, and have strong understanding of Quality Control systems and processes. Ideally you will have worked with International / Far East suppliers, and you will certainly be confident in your ability to address and improve issues found, addressing the immediate situation, and improving processes as necessary. Relatively frequent UK travel will be required, full driving licence is essential. Ideally you will have relevant qualifications, or 3 years in a similar role. You will have strong attention to detail and be able to guide stakeholders on issues relating to quality.
