Your new school
A 2 form entry primary school are seeking a full-time HLTA to join their team from as soon as possible, initially for 1 term. This school is based in the outskirts of Dudley and is easily accessible to those living in Dudley and Wolverhampton via car and public transport. The school have an exciting and welcoming learning community. The children are at the heart of everything the school do and the school strive to give all pupils as many opportunities as possible.

Your new role
In your role as HLTA, you will be predominantly based in lower KS2 though may be required to support and teach within upper KS2 and possibly KS1 on occasions. You will be supporting in classes, carrying out intervention, working with whole classes and small groups, and covering timetabled PPA. There may be an element of planning required for topic lessons however, this will be supported and under the guidance oft he class teacher.

Person Specification: Experienced & qualified HLTA Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you must have previously worked as a HLTA and have experience of supporting children in small groups and covering lessons. You will need Literacy & Numeracy intervention experience and be energetic, passionate and confident in your abilities This role would be suitable for a qualified HLTA, a HLTA qualified by experience or an NQT looking to further their experience before embarking on NQT year.
