Our client is a leading world wide manufacturer that is dedicated to producing products that's quality is recognised as second to none. Due to growth into various export markets they are looking for a Stores Person to come on board part of the team.
Role & Responsibilities:
*Allocate stock for sub-assembly or assembly
*Receive into stores machines components from the machine shop, check quantity and place in appropriate stores rack
*Determine shipment and packaging requirements
*Participate in Kaizen activities to improve processes and increase efficiency
*Report to supervision the need for attention to customers order
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
*Must have working knowledge of engineering & manufacturing industry
*Previous experience in a stores environment
*Problem solving & CI knowledge
*Able to work to tight deadlines
*Come from a continuous improvement / lean manufacturing environment and culture
