With strong growth plans and significant investment, my client is now looking for an experienced Software Development Engineer, based in South Devon.
Working onsite at their South Devon facility, there may be opportunities for remote working with regular visits to site. You will be responsible for the development of new complex embedded firmware for cutting-edge electronic products and also updating existing products.
In addition you will build a suite of applications to suit customer requirements, in a variety of environments.
Working with in-house and technical partners you will plan, execute and document development activities.
As Software Development Engineer you will also maintain and improve current software design standards and processes.
To succeed as Software Development Engineer, you must have experience in the commercial development, verification and architecture of firmware and software products.
Most products contain ARM based microcontrollers developed in C, so you must have a proven track record in network enabled microcontrollers.
At this exciting time in the company's growth, we are looking for someone to support the expansion of product capability with enterprise scale management applications in MacOS, Linux, Windows etc.
The ideal candidate will hold a good degree in Software Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science or a similar discipline.
