General Description:

Societe Generale Equipment Finance UK is a part of the global line of business of Societe Generale Equipment Finance (SGEF) which is present in 42 countries. SGEF provides vendor and equipment finance to the full breadth of the business sector. SGEF is owned by Societe Generale, an international banking group headquartered in France. SGEF UK's office is based in Richmond-Upon-Thames. In the UK SGEF provides vendor and equipment finance in the Hi-tech, Transport, Construction, Industrial, Medical, Public Sector and Agriculture markets.

This role will be maintaining and developing all MI within the company. The role will cross over all areas of the business providing accurate and relevant information on a timely basis.

Skills, Competencies & Personal Qualities:

- Ideally 3-5 years' experience as a MI analyst/Data analyst/Business Analyst

- Strong data analysis skills particularly in the form of data manipulation and reporting in at least one of these(SAPBO4.X /COGNOS/SSRS/PowerBI)

- Worked in the fast paced environment handling the regular and adhoc report deliveries

- Strong Excel report development skills and intermediate VBA development skills

- Intermediate level of exposure to the BO universe development IDT tool or Cognos cubes or Power BI cubes development

- Able to query the databases using any one of the querying languages, preferably SQL

- Experience in developing the dashboards using any one of the dashboard tools like tableau, QlikView, Power BI or google analytics platform

- Experience in User acceptance testing

- Good understanding of the relational databases RDBMS ,data warehouse , data marts techniques

- Good understanding of data management principles and data root cause analysis

- Leasing domain knowledge

- MS access VBA development skill

- CRM system knowledge e.g. salesforce

- R programming and data modelling knowledge

- Prior experience in root cause analysis techniques

- Alfa system knowledge
