Cover Supervisor needed in Hartlepool Secondary School.
The desired Cover Supervisor will be supported by an outstanding and passionate management team, and will work alongside some excellent practitioners, who put children at the heart of everything they do. Cover supervisors do not require Qualified Teacher Status.
They involve delivering pre-set work for a variety of subjects while ensuring the continuation of education for all pupils. The Cover supervisor role is ideal for those looking to go into teaching. Requirements for the Cover Supervisor position:
Passion for working with children and young adults.
Great classroom management skills
Imitative and self driven
Open to new challenges, adapt to situations
Knowledgeable and effective
Flexible and reliable
Experience of working with young people in some capacity, e.g. coaching
A degree, but this is not essential
The position could lead to a long-term work opportunity with the school or if your wanting to keep your options open, day to day work is also available. The job role will include planning and assessment, under the guidance of the Head of Department. The successful General Cover supervisor will be able to communicate a passion for the subjects in every aspect of their teaching and will work alongside some excellent practitioners.
