SyriMed are looking to recruit a Buying/Sourcing Executive (Clinical) based at our offices in Ruislip.This an exciting role which will support our ongoing project pipeline and direct materials sourcing for our specials manufacturing division.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
·Procurement of direct materials portfolio (For example: Finished human medicinal product, import unlicensed medicine, Starting raw materials, Packaging materials, Lab consumable, Equipment and Instruments with desire specifications)
·Working closely with the key stakeholders in each of the department to build a deep understanding of business needs and how procurement can best support these requirements.
·Deliver financial benefits (cost savings) in support of company's financial objectives.
·You will be sourcing new products and suppliers for our clinical division showing awareness of the regulatory and quality requirements.
·Vendor approval and Vendor relationship management.
·To support Manager with SOPs, change controls and review of internal processes as well as handle any actions generated for buying department in the Pharmaceutical Quality System.
·Ad hoc projects when required.
·Any other duties as and when requiredREQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
·Demonstrable experience of working in pharmaceutical procurement function within complex organization.
·Knowledge of direct materials portfolio including knowledge of Import of unlicensed medicine is preferable.
·Demonstrable experience of managing supplier relationship.
·Relevant qualification (e.g. CIPS) or equivalent professional experience.
·Proven track record of successful commercial and contractual negotiations.
·Experience of In-licensing from various territory (Middle East, USA, Australia, Asia or Europe) will be more preferable.
·Proficient IT skills, fully competent at using Microsoft Office packages and the ability to learn our in-house systems (full training will be given).
·Skills required - Communication, Negotiation, Leadership, Time management and ability to prioritize work.
·Ability to work on own initiative and in a team
·Responsive to the rapidly changing nature of the business
