Your new role

We are looking for a Data Officer to join the Operational Performance & Intelligence Team on a full time, temporary basis (6 Months). As a Data Officer, you will be responsible for the research, collection, processing and reporting of data. You will collate, analyse and report data to a high standard. You will assist with the collection of data through providing advice and support to specialist practitioners, such as social workers and teachers.

You will be responsible for supporting the monthly performance reporting processe. You will enable officers to make full use of performance information and ensure that up to date information is available for regular performance review.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, it is essential that you have strong mathematical and statistical knowledge. You need to be able to accurately analyse and present numerical information in a user-friendly format, including use of graphical and visual methods. You will be liaising with senior officers, so it is essential that you are able to communicate and listen effectively.

This role will suit a recent graduate or someone who is looking to develop their Data Analyst skills. Background in Mathematics / Statistics / Engineering or another Science base will be highly advantageous.

Training will be given to develop skills such as SQL, R and Geospatial Analysis
