This school, based in Brighton, is a specialist Alternative Provision for students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health difficulties. The schools caters to students from 7-16 and provides a personalised curriculum provision that is aspirational, caring and engaging, whilst still remaining challenging.

They provide a creative and bespoke curriculum tailored to meet the academic and social needs of all their pupils. A supportive team mean that staff are inspired and engaged with a positive working environment.

To be a successful Teaching Assistant at this school you need to confidently think on your feet, be approachable and have a patient manner. It would be desirable for you to have experience working with secondary aged pupils however, not essential. It is essential to have experience supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs but that can be with any age and in various provisions such as the care sector, education sector and youth work.

Currently recruiting for a part time Teaching Assistant however, as the academic year goes on there will also be an opportunity for a full time Teaching Assistant.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
