Excellent role on offer for an experienced maintenance electrician looking to work for an expanding market leading company, to be part of their latest site, where you will technically develop through training and progress your career.

This company specialise in the recycling and treatment of materials and chemicals, and production of new products from recycled materials. An ever-growing industry, this new and fully green plant is offering a future proof solution and helping the environment.

As this is a new site for the business there is opportunity to not only train and develop technically but also to progress further within the business, who have a culture to promote their own.

The Maintenance Electrician will be part of a small Maintenance Team that provides Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), breakdown repairs and the installation of new plant and equipment. This will involve working with PLC's, single and three phase systems, inverters, industrial installations along with mechanical skills.

To be considered you must live within commutable distance to Ilkeston and be electrically qualified. The working week is 45 hours + 5 hours paid breaks, normal hours are 6am-4pm and 8am-6pm.

The role:
*Planned and reactive maintenance/breakdown work
*Site inspections and testing and installations
*Electrical and mechanical work
*£41,000-£43,000 + Overtime + Training + Progression + Benefits

The person:
*Electrically qualified/biased with mechanical skills
*Live commutable to Ilkeston
