You will need to confident undertaking a large number of Audits from an ever growing client base. The Audit Senior will be based in the Bury St Edmunds office and undertake the following duties -
Key Responsibilities of an Audit Senior:
Planning Audits and identifying key risk areas.
Ability to ensure that all statutory requirements are complied with, and up to date technical knowledge.
Ability to ensure that client deadlines are met and to budget
Experience of working on more complex aspects of audits.
Building client relationships and being the point of contact on advice for structuring and systems
Supervising the audit process on site,
Supporting, developing and managing more junior members of the Audit team.
Suggest improvements for audit efficiency and general process internally.Essential Skills and Experience for this Audit Senior role:
Part or fully qualified (ACA/ACCA or equivalent)
Well-rounded knowledge of auditing standards and accounting principles
Prior experience working within an accountancy firm in either Audit or Accounts
