A primary school in Great Harwood are seeking a Year 3 teacher to start after the October half term (Monday 2nd November 2020). The school have approached Teaching Personnel to help them source a suitable candidate to work in the Year 3 class from November until April 2020 at least. This is covering a secondment and may be extended until the end of the academic year.
The incoming Year 3 teacher will need to be willing to take on full time responsibilities including, planning, marking, data entry, continual assessments etc. You would be expected to attend weekly staff meetings and relevant twilights during the term. The Head Teacher is willing to consider NQTs as well as RQTs and experienced teachers for this role.
The Head Teacher is hoping to short list suitable candidates by Friday 16th October. Once the candidates have been shortlisted there will ideally be an observation and an informal interview. Depending on the situation in school at the time, the observation may not take place.
Successful applicants will need to:
Demonstrate outstanding teaching ability
Have experience in Key Stage 2
Be willing to work as part of a team
Have high expectations of children's attainment and behaviour
