Operations Compliance Manager

Location: Bisham Abbey, SL7 1RR

Permanent - 39 hours per week

Salary: £30,000

Providing leisure services on behalf of Community Leisure Trusts, Local Authorities, universities and sporting organisations such

as Sport England. Our mission is to encourage our communities to participate in physical activity in a safe, clean, fun and friendly

environment.

This role will be based at Bisham Abbey, a National Sports Centre offering world-class sporting facilities to our local community as well as Team GB's Olympic and Paralympic teams.

Job description:

About you

First and foremost, you'll need to be an experienced Compliance Manager with exceptional ICT skills (Microsoft Office, PowerPoint), report writing and presentation skills and good analytical and organisational skills.

You should have strong process management skills, with the ability to organise, coordinate and manage members of staff and contractors across the facilities and sites and be self motivated and show initiative in the delivery of development plans.

Ideally, you will hold a First Aid at Work certificate and a NEBOSH Certificate and Level 4 qualification in a relevant discipline is essential.

This role will see you take responsibility for compliance management of the contract, ensuring effective rectification of any issues in order to meet quality and performamce standards, manage the quality delivery of the contract through the performance management system, managing internal and external audits and reporting as required to senior management and the client.

You will act as the Bisham site health and safety responsible person and chair quarterly site Health and Safety environmental and Quality Committees.

Pivotal to the role is ensuring that the operational teams are complying with statutory and company processes in relation to health, safety and SMS and lead on the delivery of key accreiations such as Hospitality Assured, Quest registration and continuous improvement plans.

compliance and adherence to SMS in Leisure.

A requirement of the role will be to provide Duty Manager cover as part of a senior team rota.

Although based out of our Bisham Abbey site, this role will involve regular travel to Lilleshall in Shropshire, so applicants must hold a clean driving licence. A pool car will be provided when you need to travel.
