Media and Communications Manager: £23ph - £25ph plus holiday Pay - Central London
Start ASAP for two months initially, possible temp to perm
We are currently recruiting for a Media and Communications Manager to join one of London's leading Universities. This is a very exciting opportunity to join a prestigious University, in a new department. There will be the opportunity for the right candidate to move progress from temp to perm in this post, making the role your own.
This post will be based in a new department, where you will be focused on building and managing the brand, along with building and managing the comms team.
You will be an experienced media and comms manager, who has experience of managing a team, completing the following:
* Building the brand and raising awareness of such
* Building relationships both internally and externally
* Creating brand templates to be used by the team
* Writing policy briefings
* Acting as the digital communications lead
* Planning and overseeing departmental events
* Overseeing the comms budget
* Building the comms team, to include recruiting and training new staff and ongoing management
Do you have experience in a similar post?
Have you worked in a new department / company, with responsibility for branding / creating a brand?
Do you have experience of building and managing a team?
Have you previously worked withing the Higher Education sector?
