Due to continued growth and success in securing new contracts, we are recruiting exclusively for a Health and Social Care Assessor to join our fantastic client. Working with employers and learners in Wales, we are looking for a Health and Social Care Assessor that can hit the ground running and support learners remotely.

We are looking for a Health and Social Care Assessor that can effectively manage a caseload of learners, this includes offering support, advise and being able to motivate them whilst operating remotely. As you will have full autonomy to manage your own diary, organisational skills are a must as well as the ability to plan your time effectively.

Health and Social Care Assessor Responsibilities:

·Taking full responsibility for a caseload of on average 35 learners from Brecon to Welshpool

·Successfully delivering L2, L3 and L5 HSC qualifications

·Providing the required level of support for each Apprentice to enable timely successful completions

·Ensuring learners remain on programme by regularly checking in and carrying out progress reviews, either remotely or in the workplace on a 1:1 basis

·Supporting learners with the EPA and 20% off the job training

·Effectively working with employers and learners remotely

·Maintaining regular contact with employers during the whole of the learning journey

·Ensuring learner files are fully compliant and up to date

Skills and Experience:

·Qualified Tutor / Assessor (any of the following (CAVA, A1, PTLLS, EAT)

·Level 3 HSC qualification (L5 highly desirable)

·Relevant industry experience within the sector

·Previous delivery of framework and standards to learners in Wales

·Up to date with all relevant changes within the Training & Education sector in Wales - funding / qualifications / eligibility

·Previous use of e-portfolio systems (Necessary)

·Strong communicator, able to effectively manage a caseload of apprentices and demonstrate good time management skills
