Lead Mechanical CAD Engineer/Supervisor

Welshpool, Powys. (Commutable from Shrewsbury, Oswestry)

£30,000 - £35,000 + Training + Pension + Holiday

Excellent opportunity for a Lead Mechanical CAD Engineer to join a long established and growing company that can offer you career development in an exciting and varied role.

This company have been established for nearly 30 years and manufacture a range of bespoke products with applications in multiple sectors. They pride themselves on the quality of their products and high levels of customer service.

You will ensure that working drawings are created accurately from surveying drawings and work with sales to ensure all products are at the forefront of the field. You will be working on bespoke products so no two projects will be the same.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a draughtsperson or design role and come from a manufacturing background, with some supervisory experience.

This is a great opportunity to join a company in a fast paced and busy role where you will be pivotal to the business and be able to further your career into management.

The Role:

*Producing CAD drawing.

*Ensuring products are at the forefront of the field

*Checking drawings for accuracy

The Person:

*Experience working in design or as a draughtsperson

*Background in manufacturing or working on bespoke products

*CAD experience (Ideally SolidWorks or AutoCAD)
