Our client is looking for a Lead Developer to join their very talented team. As a Technical Lead you will be required to architect and build features across our product range. You will work closely with our existing team, providing technical direction and guidance on appropriate development practices, as well as working closely with our product teams to fully understand our users. We value the development and nurturing of our junior engineers and the Tech Lead. You will leave your mark on our engineering culture with your technical leadership, whilst continuing to keep growing yourself. You should have a desire to improve your knowledge and understanding of both our tools and technologies and seek opportunities to learn from others and assist the team in continuous improvement. Some of the key responsibilities for the right Technical Lead include:
  • Working closely with the team to solve technical challenges and reviewing their outputs ahead of client delivery
  • Establishing a clear roadmap for technical direction, demonstrating how strategic development can improve our multiple service offerings, while meeting client needs in the highly regulated environments in which they operate
  • Utilizing your substantial expertise in a strategic and planning capacity, while remaining 'hands-on' within the development team and adopting a hands-on approach to your development style.
  • Creating and validating project architecture and associated documentation
  • Playing an integral role throughout the entirety of the development life cycle
  • Thinking outside the box in order to bring new ideas to the table

As Technical Lead you will have experience in the following:
  • C#.net
  • Experience using Front end JavaScript frameworks (e.g. Angular)
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure
  • Working within an Agile software environment
  • You take ownership of product features from inception to release
  • You are thorough and take pride in your work
  • You appreciate software design as a craft but make pragmatic decisions when needed
  • You build iteratively so you can see features in the hands of users
  • You are empathetic, thoughtful and dedicated
