About the School:

The PRU School is based in Christchurch with easy access for those travelling from Southampton, Bournemouth and Poole. In the schools last Ofsted the school was graded as a Good school. The school cares deeply about the education and care of its students and does all it can to make sure it's teachers receive the support they need.

About the Role:

The role will be starting from September and will be for 4 days a week (Monday - Thursday) but the school are happy to look at options to secure the right candidate. The role will involve teaching English in KS3/4, including GCSE and will be supported by their Head of English. The school are looking for a passionate teacher, has good subject knowledge and comes with a great enthusiasm to learn new skills and integrate in to the English department. The right person will have to be able to build rapport with the students as the school is very challenging but with challenges it brings the best rewards!

The ideal candidate will:

Have recent experience teaching in UK Schools
Be a committed team player
Experience with challenging behaviour
Have strong classroom management skills
Be confident and adaptive to different environments
