Packt are a leading global publisher of technology books for computer programmers. We have served over one million customers across a wide spectrum of technology topics through our books, video courses and training products. We have developed a Community Platform to ensure we are engaging and repeatedly working with expert developers, and are looking for a Community Platform Manager to curate this. They will help us develop, manage, and grow this platform to ensure that we are actively engaging our community of authors, reviewers and contributors. The Community Platform Site has been developed using BuddyBoss and Wordpress, and we are looking for an individual with experience in these areas to lead the future development and innovation of the platform. The successful applicant should have experience in developer relations and community management. Moreover, ideally they would have experience in developing WP sites, and managing & utilising plugins.

Experience required:
  • Experience in developer relations and community management
  • Experience of building Wordpress or Buddyboss platforms
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills
  • Strategic thinker
  • Networking aptitude
  • Experience working with teams across international locations
  • An interest in Technology is advantageous
