The main purpose of the role is to provide a fully comprehensive financial support service to the site operational teams, monitor contract costs and evaluate budget and operational assumptions.

In this role you are accountable for:

Producing weekly management information, and monthly packs, relating to separate site contracts
Processing internal cross charges and Clipper trial balances
Providing and interpreting financial information relative to separate contracts
Monitoring cost flows and to identify future trends
Evaluating ways to cut costs and present viable options to the Senior Finance Manager/ GM
Managing budgets and provide accurate information and costing; providing a detailed variance analysis breakdown against Budget/Forecast.
Processing figures to identify shared gain
Assisting in the production of monthly management accounts
Ensuring that all purchase orders and supplier invoices are logged and processed
Holding petty cash and manage expenditure of sundries
Ensuring data and information is kept confidential at all times
Undertaking all other tasks as reasonably requested by the Senior Finance Manager & Site Manager

Required skills and experience:

Ideally Part Qualified in CIMA or Equivalent (Study Support Available)
High Accuracy & attention to detail
Previous experience in a fast paced Industry (Logistics, FMCG, Food)
Advanced excel skills including the ability to use formulas to a good standard
Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
Ability to effectively communicate with people at levels
Self -motivated and works under own initiative
