Brief Overview

Appirio's Organisational Change Management (OCM) Consultant is a thought leader and utility player, often working independently across a portfolio of projects in collaboration with internal resources and external clients. The Consultant develops and executes culturally appropriate change strategies and execution plans that enable successful digital and organisational transformations and cloud-based technology implementations. This senior-level role works with executives, senior managers, key stakeholders, and project teams to ensure overall project success. This role also supports the sales process by participating in proposal creation and pitch presentations partnering to enable sales team to articulate the value proposition of OCM offerings in order to drive new business opportunities.

We seek a candidate with deep domain knowledge of Organisational Change Management, a clear approach to OCM solution design and execution, demonstrated passion to expand their thinking, expertise, continuous learning, and consistently exceeding client expectations. The candidate also has a passion for user adoption, client success, and ongoing sustained lifecycle management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Understand client's culture, business strategies and associated organisational change management opportunities and challenges
  • Approach organisational change as both an art and a science, leveraging proven change methodologies, as well as a strong understanding of individual and organisational psychological factors that influence and drive behavioral change
  • Build relationships with constituents including: clients, internal teams, and consulting partners
  • Work across teams to serve as the "expert" on organisational change management including: overall program strategy including change design and execution, stakeholder engagement, organisational readiness, leadership alignment, communication and training, project management, business process design, sustainment and measurement
  • Assist in the realignment of the client's organisation, people, and critical business imperatives and specific objectives. Communicate well and articulately to all levels of the client's organisation
  • Lead and/or execute executive and leadership alignment, stakeholder engagement and organisational readiness, change impact analysis, communications, education, and adoption and human performance measurement workstreams
  • Contribute to the development of OCM delivery tools and resources, thought leadership, and client offerings through professional experience and perspective
  • Determine the resource plan and timeline in alignment with overall implementation release schedule, scope, and budget requirements
  • Manage and lead resources assigned to projects
  • Identify opportunities to provide or create additional client value
  • Provide sales support as needed on new or existing client engagements


Education and Required Experience (Requirements)
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Salesforce experience strongly preferred
  • Experience in general management/software consulting
  • Experience related to the successful delivery of change management work including, change assessments, job/role design, stakeholder engagement, organisational readiness, leadership alignment, change impact analysis, education, communications, training, user adoption, change measurements, and sustainment.
  • Experience conducting business interviews and leading client workshops
  • Hands-on direct experience with large-scale ERPs, Sales/CRM technology, and multi-cloud implementations (Salesforce, MS Dynamics/O365, Oracle, SAP, etc.)
  • Strong proficiency with presentation tools and applications
  • Ability and confidence to work closely with, and advise, senior executives and key stakeholders at a given customer
  • Experience assessing business objectives and defining change strategy to meet objectives as well as developing appropriate work plans and leading the project according to the plan
  • Demonstrate ability to work across all areas in an organisation and manage various functions and resources
  • Excellent communication skills and strong leadership and presentation skills
  • Strong writing skills including the ability to synthesize information into clear, concise messages both for detailed analytical reports and executive summaries
  • Ability to work independently, work with a remote team, work cross-culturally, think creatively, manage own time, and take initiative to drive projects
  • Exceptional client relationship management skills
  • Ability to work from home office and travel up to 50-100%
  • Degree or certification in Organisational Change Management preferred
