Our client is a leading infrastructure specialist looking to hire a Head of Process Engineering to be based in Highgate.
You will be responsible for the Process Engineering of Water Treatment sites across the U.K
You will hold a degree in Chemical Engineering or related Process Engineering or Science discipline and be a Chartered Professional Engineer or Scientist with an internationally recognised industry Association for at least 15 years.
Key responsibilities & duties:
* An excellent communicator and team orientated individual
* Extensive experience in the design and commissioning of water and/or waste water non-infrastructure from feasibility stage through to detailed design including development of piping and instrumentation diagrams, control philosophies and detailed process calculations
* An excellent understanding of the UK water industry standards and drivers over the current and next investment cycles
* Proven experience and knowledge of complex solutions to meet key drivers for the current and future drivers in the water industry
* Extensive experience in ensuring the quality of process design input on projects in the Water Industry
* Experience in leading the Process design of small/medium or large projects up to a value of at least £50m.
* Experience in site based work - monitoring, operations, bench scale trials and field analysis in the water sector - site sampling, jar testing and other trial work
Qualifications & training:
* Chemical Engineering or related Process Engineering discipline
* Experience building academic relationships and leveraging internal or external innovation and research opportunities
* Project and/or design management experience
* Presenting papers at UK or international conferences
* Full clean driving licence
