Electrical Design Engineer | Fife | £On application

Avenues client, a leading provider of integrated engineering solutions is actively looking for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join their highly successful team of professionals at their facility in Fife. This exciting opportunity is a result of continued growth and will suit an innovative and motivated Engineer that is looking for a fresh challenge, career progression, competitive package and continues training opportunities.

Duties and Responsibilities

Design of Electrical, Control & Instrumentation project infrastructure
Generation of design documentation
Production of electrical installation diagrams and schedules
Writing project based specifications and Scope of Work
Liaising directly with client and project management team
Detailed knowledge of British Standards and current Codes of Practices
Seeing conceptual designs through to completion

The Candidate

Relevant degree in electrical engineering
Extensive project related design experience
A sound and proven knowledge of electrical engineering planning and design
IET Wiring Regulations, 18th Edition compliant
Proficient in Auto CAD, Amtech suite of software, and Eplan P8
Design of Electrical Control Panels, Motor Control Centres, LV Distribution boards
Excellent written and spoken communication skills
Ability to prioritise own workload
Innovative approach to work
Desire to advance your own career within the business
Full UK driving licence
