A number of schools in your area are looking to appoint 1:1 Teaching Assistants, SEN Teaching Assistance and general Teaching Assistants to assist with the curriculum demands since returning to school.
To be considered for these roles, you will be required to have a minimum Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification, recent experience of working in a similar role is desirable.
Requirements of our Teaching Assistants will include but will not be limited to;
- To aid the pupils to learn as effectively as possible both in group situations and individually
- To establish supportive relationships with the pupils concerned
- To promote the acceptance and inclusion of the pupils with SEN, encouraging pupils to interact with each other in an appropriate and acceptable manner
- To give positive encouragement, feedback and praise to reinforce and sustain the pupils' efforts and develop self reliance and self esteem.
