TimePlan are proud to announce we are working with an Alternative Provision in Portsmouth who are seeking additional Teaching Assistants to support children with additional needs.

The schools aim is to provide a tailored and specialist setting for children who cannot cope within a mainstream setting allowing them to improve their education but focusing on their social, emotional and mental well-being as a paramount.

They accept children across Key stages 2-4 and have 4 sites in Portsmouth all catering to different areas of SEMH including a provision specifically for Year 5 to Year 9, another for KS4 only, one tailored for children with medical needs and those too ill to attend school and also a setting tailored to children who are looking for an alternative to an out of city placement.

In order to be considered for this position, all applicants must:

have previous experience working in line with the UK national curriculum
hold a current and clear DBS
be able to commit to the full duration of the contract
have a passion for teaching and the ability to inspire all who they teach.In return we offer:
