The Company

Renowned for their bespoke design, my client is passionate about the people they hire and pride themselves of consistency and attention to detail in order to design specialised products for various industries.

Power Electronics Engineer Position

Due to the nature of the projects, you will be working with a highly experienced team and working directly under the Head of Engineering and Technical Manager. You will also be working with other Electronics Engineers with a similar skillset.

You will be assisting a development project designing high quality electrical systems, therefore previous industry experience is essential. Other required experience includes:

Experience working with AC/DC or DC/DC converters
Experience working with low to medium (20V+) voltage electrical systems
Understanding of battery charge regulators or similar experience with battery power systems
Experience and knowledge of PCB layout and schematic capture (preferably using Altium)
My client would also highly consider a candidate with previous experience at other consultancy based companies, however this is not essential. They will also acknowledge good general knowledge of electronics engineering and someone who has at least 5 years' experience within the profession.

In return, you shall receive a competitive hourly rate while expanding your knowledge within a fast-paced and successful environment. The project is expected to initially last 6 months but could be extended depending on future projects.

As the current situation is slowly getting back to normal, my client would prefer everyone to work onsite, however if this is not possible they are open to remote work too. If this is something you may be interested in please apply now
