Our UK business sells around 400,000 vehicles a year to buyers in over 110 countries through our unique online 'live lane' auctions using our patented auction technology. We operate across two core markets of Insurance (selling vehicles that are accident damaged) and Automotive (vehicles that are 'runners').

As we continue to grow, we now are looking to recruit an ambitious, innovative and ROI focussed digital/e-commerce Marketing Manager to join our team and spearhead the launch of a brand-new proposition into the market. The successful candidate for this new position will be responsible for implementing Copart's ambitious online growth plans and help us 'level up' across digital. An opportunity to truly make your mark.

You will be considered a digital expert within Copart as we look to build out our digital capabilities and team following the appointment of this role. You will work within the Marketing function, but in some ways be the digital pioneer across Copart so there is an element of creating your own digital destiny within the business.

You will need to be comfortable working with existing teams who are involved in our web businesses as you will be reliant on them for some of your success. This includes UK teams and some of our IT colleagues in the US.

Reporting to the Marketing Director, you will have responsibility of not only the digital strategy but the everyday running of the ecommerce websites for our multiple brands, including monitoring and reviewing the web analytics to ensure the best possible customer journey.

You will have experience across digital platforms, a broad experience across the whole marketing mix, including driving performance across multiple channels such as SEO, PPC and email marketing. As a digital business Copart has multiple online platforms so you must have prior experience of managing an ecommerce web sites.

Furthermore, we are looking for someone who able to manage our e-commerce commercial relationships with suppliers and ensure we are getting the best value for money on our investments.

Essential Skills

Managing the business performance of an e-commerce website
End to end digital marketing - traffic generation, conversion rates, sales, fulfilment etc)
P&L responsibility and demonstrable business growth achievements
Digital business management including websites/marketing and commercial partners
E-commerce operations (contact centre, working with a wider business teams like finance, sales)
Strong analytics and decision-making skills
Digital marketing (SEO, paid, content, social, email, affiliates etc) for customer acquisition
Demonstrable experience in growing a digital business
Delivering results in both B2B and B2C
Planning and organizational skills and a high degree of numeracy and commercially astute

Desirable Skills

Developing front end experiences (using IT build teams)
Experience in selecting and managing digital agencies
Automotive sector experience
Driven growth in a digital start up environment
Agile PM experience
Worked in an international business
Broad experience of managing digital marketing and digital customer acquisition and retention for a leading retailer or brand
Ability to work within a fluid business context
