Our client is a leading provider of engineering services with experience in heavy and industrial electrical, mechanical and control services. They are looking to recruit an Electrical Maintenance Engineer into their team to assist with work within the branch as well as covering an array of sites across the UK. If you have experience within heavy engineering sectors and the ability to test electrical systems, then we want to hear from you!

Diagnose and repair electrical problems in commercial and heavy electrical systems
Fault finding, rewiring, and monitoring
Carry out electrical testing on LV & HV motors
Carry out mechanical tasks such as valves, pumps, alignments, conveyors, bearing replacements.
Carry out routine maintenance and testing, ensuring installations are to manufacture standards
Install electrical systems to 18th edition wiring regulations
Rewire faulty electrical panel systems
Some foreign travel may be required

Experience required:
Able to read electrical drawings
Working on HV cables and systems beneficial and must be able carry out LV installations on industrial sites
Served a recognised electrical indentured apprenticeship
18th edition wiring regulations would be advantageous
Knowledge of IEE regulations
Inspection and Testing certificate (2391)
Previous experience on power station systems such as motors, actuators, trace heating, LV switchgear maintenance and electrical defects
Fault finding, repair, installation, and commissioning experience
Hydraulic, pneumatic or fluid system experience would be beneficial

40-hour week, Monday Friday, overtime available and call outs are part of the role
