Opportunity for an Engineer in the Ross-Shire area***
Project Management and budget management of multidiscipline projects (civil/electrical/water/fuel)
Develop the maintenance plan, ensuring quays, piers, warehouses and lay down areas remain fit for purpose, clear of debris and safe to use. Include setting and monitoring KPIs and targets in line with that plan and to meet service level agreements
Work collaboratively with customers and internal parties to ensure all assets are maintained to the appropriate standard of repair, safety and reliability.
Project Management of multi - disciplined projects. Engineering/Construction/Maintenance
Negotiating contractor tenders and managing third party contractors
Day-to-day management of the maintenance team, to deliver safe, efficient and effective maintenance operations of the facilities.
Undertake the implementation of planned maintenance programs with respect to operational and PLANT equipment as per maintenance/inspection schedules
Supervision and control of equipment for the provision and reception of fuel oil, water and waste, including the processing of returns where required.
To understand the tasks of Operation team and support deputise in the absence of Operations Manager.
Other duties as required from time to time in order to meet the needs of the businessDesirable Experience & Attribute Requirements:
Chartered Engineer with degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Civil/Instrumentation Engineering
Experience working in a similar role; previous management of capital projects; people management
Experience; coaching/mentoring skills and experience; a good strategist; Awareness of Health and Safety at work
