A stunning opportunity to join a well-respected membership organisation, leading chartered institute. Our client is looking for a Volunteers Engagement Executive to support their regional member branches across the UK.
As Volunteers Engagement Executive you'll be responsible for supporting a portfolio of local institutes, run by volunteers from the profession. In this role you'll be providing operational expertise for regional events which includes delivery and coordination of marketing, promotion, logistics and content development - you'll do all of this with close reference to the wider team and the institute's overall objectives and strategy. You'll be expected to run regular reporting to help us gauge how we're doing and what we can continue to improve. And in addition, there'll be a requirement for administrative support of the local institute committees. Once travel becomes more possible we expect that there will be some travel in this role to visit local institutes, so you'll need to be willing to undertake some travel within the UK.
To succeed in the role you'll need to build strong and effective working relationships with our volunteers who are the local market experts, with the wider regional engagement team and central office, so demonstrable experience of working with a wide range of stakeholders, and volunteers in particular, will be advantageous.
As part of a geographically dispersed team you'll need to be comfortable building these relationships virtually and working autonomously when needed.
You will be highly organised, with good attention to detail and be able to manage multiple objectives. A working knowledge and some experience of copywriting, marketing communications and marketing reporting will be very helpful.
You'll be someone who takes satisfaction in facilitating the success of others, enjoys finding more effective ways of doing things, and who is equally comfortable collaborating and working independently.
To apply for this role please send your CV.
