Medicine of the Elderly / Orthopaedic rehabilitation within the Royal Victoria Building (RVB) wards, WGH
We require a band 5 Occupational Therapist with experience working in the acute setting.
This post will provide an opportunity to develop skills in orthopaedic rehabilitation within medicine of the elderly. The aim of this post is to provide enhanced rehabilitation and early intervention to older people following an orthopaedic injury.
It is desirable for candidates to display evidence of experience of working within medicine of the elderly and / or orthopaedic rehabilitation however this is not essential but an enthusiasm for working within Medicine of the Elderly is crucial.
The individual must display excellent communication and organisational skills, with an ability to work alone or with others.
Occupational Therapy Services support staff development through appraisal processes, supervision and CPD opportunities.
