Supplier Quality Engineer, Salisbury, £40,000 per annum

A market leading organisation is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis to work at their site in Salisbury. Working collaboratively with different departments, the Supplier Quality Engineer will play a pivotal role in the delivery of all aspects of the Supplier Quality Assurance function. The successful Supplier Quality Engineer will be responsible for liaising directly with suppliers to develop and implement best practices that emphasise efficiency, defect prevention and reductions in waste to meet all product and company requirements.

Other responsibilities include: Collecting root cause analysis, resolving non-conformance issues, completing supplier and performance audits to ensure of the supplier's capability, supporting the project team in the delivery of NPD, ensuring compliance with ISO9001 standards.

To be considered for this position the successful Supplier Quality Engineer must have experience in a supply facing quality position, with experience in analysing supplier performance.

It would be advantageous for candidates to have experience / knowledge in any of the following areas: hold a formal qualification i.e. Degree, HND in an Engineering / Science discipline or a closely related subject, planning and conducting audits, Sigma / Green Belt, ISO9001 standards, quality management systems, negotiation, gap analysis.
Transferrable positions for this opportunity include: Quality Engineer (suppler facing), Quality Assurance Engineer, SQE, SQA, Quality Team Leader, Quality Manager, Quality Assurance Manager.
