Main Responsibilities:
  • Managing Quality concerns related to design and specification
  • Managing projects with multi-functional teams (Factory, Service, Purchasing and Design)
  • Carry out complex technical investigations and deploy countermeasure actions that reduce Warranty cost and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct Primary Analysis and countermeasure confirmation
  • Travel to incident vehicles, operational environment and actual customers
  • Take hands on approach to locally reproducing concerns
  • To take investigation beyond the existing company available information
  • Controlling and Reporting investigation status and future activities to management
  • Conduct Real Word Verification with New Model and Design/Test teams
  • The role will require frequent travel (including Japan)

Qualifications, skills and experience required:
  • University degree in Automotive/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering (Must)
  • Good knowledge in at least one area; E drive, In Vehicle Infotainment, Chassis (Advantage)
  • Demonstrable problem solving skills (Essential)
  • Project management skills (Advantage)
  • An apt communicator, be able to build good relationships across all teams (Essential)
  • Be proactive and demonstrate high level of self-motivation to deliver (Essential)
  • Have flexible attitude towards working across all categories depending on workload (Must)
  • Second Language European (Advantage)
