An international Electrical services organization which is based in nearly 50 countries globally is looking to recruit a Project Engineer to join its Projects team. The role will see you carry out responsibilities for multiple projects from 'cradle to grave'. The ideal candidate will hold a HNC in Electrical Engineering and have experience of running multiple projects at any one time.

Commutable from: Merthyr Tydfil, Pontypridd, Neath, Abergavenny

Salary: £ 25,000 - £ 35,000 p.a. + Bupa Healthcare (after 6 months) + 23 days holiday + Pension etc.

Suitable for: Project Engineer, Contracts Engineer, Cost Engineer, Project Manager

Ideally having experience in Feed, Food & Beverage sector.

The Role

* The Project Engineer will be tasked with overseeing the successful delivery of the project through to completion

* Managing several internal workers as well as subcontractors

* Provide technical support

* Responsibility for all Safety, health, environment and quality matters as well as continuous improvements

* Manage the procurement and purchases for the project

* Ensure the quarterly account closing of the project and forecast estimates are carried out

* Coach and motivate the project team

* Review supplier performance

* Develop key customer relationships

* Ensure all services and installations are compliant and certified to the required standards

The Person

* Ideally the Project Engineer will be Degree or HNC/HND qualified in Electrical engineering or equivalent technical discipline

* Experienced within the Electrical Contract, Electrical Installation and Industry

* Proven understanding of managing projects would advantageous

* Must have a professional and positive attitude

* Happy to travel to carry out Project duties

* Able to work to deadlines, including unsociable hours

* Excellent communication skills are needed

* Organisational skills including planning, time management and project management
