Head of Quality

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Senior Management Team of a £140M business and operate across two of our brands.

As continuously growing businesses, we offer training and apprenticeships to a wide range of industries/sectors, including, but not limited to: Water; Gas; Rail; and Health and Safety organisations.

This role will work to continually improve the quality of our provision with responsibility across multiple offices.

Purpose of the Role

The purpose of this role is to:

*To ensure the business is 'OfSTED' ready at all times with an expected outcome of no less than Grade 2
*To ensure compliance with ESFA funding rules
*To ensure quality systems and processes are in place and followed to maintain a quality assured customer offering
*To be an active member of the senior management team contributing to the management of the business

Key Areas of Responsibility:

*Manage the Self Assessment Process
*Lead on Quality Improvement Planning
*Provide 'real-time' management reporting on all accredited learning
*Quality assure training delivery and assessment
*Monitor, evaluate and report performance against internal key performance indicators,
*Lead on, and promote all wellbeing subjects to the delivery and wider team
*Support, monitor and coach training and delivery team to maintain competencies and identify areas for improvement
*Manage awarding bodies communication and lead external quality assurance visits
*Ensure ESFA data requirements are met
*Maintain external quality assurance accreditations
*Support with Lesson planning and development of learning materials

Required Qualifications:
*D32/D33, or A1 or TAQA equivalent
*D34, V1 or TAQA equivalent
*Level 3 Training and Education or similar
*GCSEs in Maths and English A-C or equivalent
*Relevant industry qualifications

*Quality assurance
*Coaching and facilitation skills
*Organisation skills
*Communication skills
*Ability to develop relationships at all levels
*Designing training material
*Delivery and presentation skills
*Assessing skills
*Knowledge of the end to end learning cycle
*Working as part of a team

Required experience:

*5 years' experience in a senior-level quality assurance role in the education sector
*Experience leading ESFA audits and Ofsted Inspections
*Managing ESFA Ofsted quality expectations
*3 years' Training and Assessing
*Managing awarding body and other accreditations

Required licences or certifications:
*Assessor Award A1/TAQA units
*Internal Verifier V1/TAQA units
*Degree or equivalent professional qualification
