Teaching Personnel are currently working with a large primary school located in the S13 area of Sheffield who require a specialist Teaching Assistant to support students who display disengaged and challenging behaviours.
Finding the right individual to engage and support these children is essential to the learning and development of students, therefore somebody who is nurturing and patient, with the ability to effectively de-escalate potentially volatile situations is essential for this role.
You will work with an existing team of 1 class teacher and 3 teaching assistants, who are excited to welcome and share their knowledge with a new colleague. For this role, you must be able to commit to a long term, full time position.
We are looking for:
A Teaching Assistant with expeirence in supporting students with challenging behaviour
A Teaching Assistant with the ability to build a positive relationship and effectively engage the students
A Teaching Assistant with a minimum qualification of CACHE Level 2 or equivalent
This role is to start on the 28th September 2020 and is initially on a temporary basis until March 2021, with the potential for a permanent contract available for the right candidate.
