The role:

Family Law Secretary

We have an excellent opportunity for someone wishing to join a successful law firm. Our client is currently recruiting for an experienced Family Law Secretary to join their busy team within their Waterlooville office. You will be working alongside one of the Fee Earner's, providing day to day support with an ever increasing busy workload, undertaking key duties within the family law team, the ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, driven and highly organised.

Overview of the role:

Assist the Fee Earner in managing numerous caseloads varying from divorce, finance cases and child arrangements matters.

Handling incoming calls from clients and assisting where you can along with filtering calls to relevant individuals.

Corresponding to emails in a timely manner.

Drafting relevant documents when instructed to do so.

Diary management for senior team members.

Filing & management of legal case documents.

Meet & greet of clients when required.

Person Specification:

Minimum of 2 years family legal experience is a essential.

Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with people at all different levels.

Excellent typing skills along with attention to detail.

Demonstrable commitment to teamwork but with the ability to work on your own initiative in day to day organisation of workload and priorities.

Positive and proactive attitude.

Calm and approachable at all times.

In addition to this you must be computer literate, organised, work well under pressure, have the ability to work in a team and on your own, be able to deal with difficult situations.

This role is full-time, Monday - Friday 9.00 - 17.30

Salary: £22,000 to £24,000 depending on experience
