About the Role

Working for one of our household name clients, you'll be a key member of the maintenance team responsible for delivering planned and preventative gas maintenance, fault finding and repair, as well as general maintenance in other areas if needed. You will ensure high levels of compliance as well as Health & Safety at all times.
As a skilled Gas Engineer, you will have a proven track record working on High Profile commercial contracts, ideally within retail/supermarkets. You will also have an understanding and knowledge of commercial M&E service technologies.
You'll enjoy working autonomously in a pressurised environment and be able to prioritise a complex and demanding workload. With knowledge of refrigeration systems, you can provide visual inspection when required. You'll have Awareness of budgeting of parts and material usage.
You'll have excellent written and verbal communications skills, enabling you to communicate all operational issues within your region and you'll be customer service driven and enjoy working within a people focused environment.
To be successful you will have:
Experience gained either within Facilities Management or Construction
A recognised commercial Gas qualification and be Gas Safe certified
HVAC knowledge - desirable
A full driving licence
Proficient IT skills

The role will involve working 45 hours per week and you'll be on call 1 in 4 weeks. It will also involve working 1 in 4 Saturdays.
