Temporary Specialist within the supply chain function of medical device company in west London.
We are working with a brilliant, growing start-up business with c 60 people in the company at the moment. They produce specific medical devices and are pleased to announce that they have won a major contract with the Department for Health which in turn has seen significant growth in revenue and volume. This means that they are shaping a brand-new Supply Chain function which you could be part of! This client is based in West London and due to the nature of the product, working from the office is a must from day one. #
Reporting into the Operations Director, In this role you will be supporting the bill of materials within the medical products to ensure that all product information is loaded correctly onto the PLM (product lifecycle management company). When each part of the products arrive into the site from suppliers, you will be responsible for ensuring all relevant documentation is obtained and recorded to ensure supply chain compliance and auditable.
You will be highly organised with a strong attention to detail to succeed in this role. This is a contact role for two months initially but with likely extension. If you have experience with specific bill of material (BOM) or PLM systems that would be ideal, but not a show-stopper. If you have a mechanical or engineering background this would be helpful in order to understand the supplies and product detail, but again, ideal not essential.
In return you will be working for a very exciting organisation who are going from strength to strength. This organisation are based in West London and you would be expected to be in the office full-time.
