Our client who are an mobile marketing communications company, are recruiting for an experienced Bookkeeper/Accounts Assistant due to growth within the company. They are looking for the ideal candidate to join their busy Accounts team. The ideal candidate for this position must has 2 years Bookkeeping/Accounts experience. Knowledge of Xero/QuickBooks/Sage knowledge is a must.
Main Duties:
* Posting of invoices and payments
* Reconciling client and supplier accounts
* Assisting clients and suppliers with queries
* Processing payments and update the systems accordingly
* Credit control
* Assisting in month end and year end accounts
* Providing administrative and clerical support as needed
* Overseeing the financial health of the company
* Prepare VAT returns
* Other Ad-hoc duties as directed by the line manager
* To demonstrate an on-going willingness to learn, develop and improve
* To maintain a professional appearance at all times
* To maintain high levels of attendance and time keeping
* Be responsible for keeping the workstation tidy and organised
* AAT qualified or qualified by experience
* Must have experience software knowledge Xero/QuickBooks/Sage knowledge
* Experience as bookkeeper
* Have the ability to work to deadlines
* Strong communication skills
* Excellent problem-solving skills
* Computer Literacy
* An understanding of confidentiality and data protection in the workplace
* An understanding of Facebook and Twitter
* Good organisational skills
* Ability to use own initiative
* Willingness to take on new tasks and learn
