My client school which is located in North West London is a good school which serves a multicultural catchment area and celebrates over 40 different languages. From November they have an opportunity for a DT Teacher of Product Design to join them for the rest of the academic year on a full time basis, and they and are open to receiving application from experienced and NQTs.

With good transport links and great facilities my client's school has a lot to offer. Most recently they were observed by OfSTED and graded 'Satisfactory' with many 'Good' elements which they are aiming to hit by the next time they are inspected. For this to happen, and even though this post is temporary initially, the school wants to attract the best teachers in the business and are offering some great packages, including TLRs for experienced Teachers who are happy to take on extra responsibilities and excellent career progression opportunities. Within the DT Department which is really popular, you will have some state of the art classrooms to teach in, with all the best and latest machinery and Interactive White Boards. Product Design has become ever popular at this school and the rise in students taking GCSE & BTEC over the past 3 years has rocketed with the school having a 100% GCSE pass rate - one of the key reasons of this recent popularity is the extended learning on offer, including trips to BMW production base!

They are looking for a DT Teacher who loves teaching, can inspire motivated students and can raise attainment in an ever growing popular department. The Head of DT is looking for a teacher who has the initiative and desire to implement new ideas, so if you're a creative teacher with a flair for mixing it up, this could be a great place for you to make an impact. In return you will join a fun and
supportive DT Department which has impressive GCSE results for 2015. You will be offered an attractive salary package and if you're an NQT, a well run induction programme.

The school are looking to interview DT Teachers ASAP. If you would like to become one of their successful DT teachers then you need to Email your CV to David Francis at Edustaff.

This is a great opportunity for a DT teacher to join a supportive department in a subject that is well received by students. Don't miss out on this DT teacher post if you're confident you can deliver engaging lessons!
