Teaching Assistant (KS1) - St Helens

Working as part of a dedicated and resourceful KS1 team, the successful candidate will work as a general teaching assistant, supporting the children with both academic progress (National Curriculum), welfare and safety. Working knowledge of Safeguarding policy is highly desirable.
Successful candidates will find themselves in a warm, welcoming environment in a primary school that was graded "Good" in a recent Ofsted report. Enthusiastic and creative teaching staff are supported by a strong senior leadership team, all delivering in classrooms focused on maintaining a positive and safe atmosphere for children and practitioners alike.
To be considered for the teaching assistant position, you will:
Hold a teaching assistant qualification or equivalent
Have experience working in a primary school setting (preferably across different year groups)
Have some knowledge of the National Curriculum and maintaining records
