Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant, or recent Graduate seeking a full-time position within a secondary school in Bury this academic year?

Do you have previous experience working with children and young people within an education or youth work capacity?

Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a large mixed comprehensive secondary school in the centre of Bury to support with the recruitment of a full-time Learning Support Assistant to work with students across Key Stage Three and Key Stage Four. This position is available with an immediate start date and will initially be offered until the end of the academic year.

- Full-time Learning Support Assistant required, ASAP start date.

- Working with identified pupils to motivate, and support them throughout the school day.

- Pay in line with the role, earn up to £70 per day.

- Large mixed comprehensive secondary school in Bury, accessible via the M66 motorway.

- Learning Support Assistants of all experience levels are welcome to apply for this position.

Our partner secondary school has recently opened an on-site inclusion unit to support pupils outside of the classroom and provide more targeted support to work with these pupils. As a Learning Support Assistant within our client secondary school, you will have the opportunity to work alongside students on a 1:1 basis and in small groups. You will be able to provide intervention sessions and successfully manage behaviour and you will also be given the chance to cover lessons in the absence of the class teacher to provide you with invaluable experience before starting a teacher training programme.

Located in central Bury, our partner secondary school is easily reached from the M66 motorway. For non drivers, there are a number of public transportation links that lead directly to the school from neighbouring areas Bolton, Rochdale and central Manchester.
