We're here to educate, but more important than that is to have happy and safe young people who can flourish. Our Pastoral provision is first class and it is one of the main reasons parents choose to trust us with their children. We hope that you share the same vision for education and would like to join us to complement a team of brilliant individuals.

The successful candidate will assist and support the Pastoral Team Leader in working with a team of tutors and managing the academic and personal progress of students.

As well has having excellent administrative and organisational skills you will be working closely with the students, promoting high standards of behaviour, supporting them in class where necessary and liaising with parents and external agencies. You will therefore need to be confident, proactive and have the aptitude to work independently and as part of a team.

Are you able to:

* Inspire and innovate?

* Nurture and develop (yourself as well as others)?

* Commit to, and raise further, high achievement and motivation?

We will offer:

* A supportive learning environment

* The opportunity to make a difference

* Local Government Pension Scheme

* The benefit of being part of a multi-academy trust offering the support of experienced colleagues across our schools and greater opportunities for career progression

If you feel you could contribute to our success please visit our website for an application form, or contact Jana Niebauerova, HR Assistant, The Costello School, Crossborough Hill, Basingstoke, RG21 4AL, Tel: (phone number removed).

Closing date for applications: Monday 14th September 2020 12 (noon)
