AGE UK Nottinghamshire have an excellent opportunity for a Payroll Advisor to join our team in Nottingham.

Hours: around 13 hours per week, to be worked flexibly

Salary: £12.37 per hour

Scale: AUNN Band F (£23,805 per annum FTE)

Based: Home working with occasional office work at Bradbury House, Nottingham

Tenure: Permanent

Our Finance Department provides a professional financial service to the Charity & its Trading Companies as well as to staff & volunteers, members of the public and other voluntary, statutory and private organisations.

We have a vacancy for a Payroll Advisor who will work alongside the Finance Leader and the Finance & Payroll Coordinator to provide support to the team. We are looking for an experienced individual to deliver an efficient, confidential and accurate payroll service which meets internal customer needs and ensures compliance with external requirements.

The successful Payroll Advisor candidate will have excellent numeracy skills, sound self organisation and workload management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines. Good IT skills are essential, including a proven ability to use spread sheets and payroll systems. The Payroll Advisor is a busy and demanding role and the person must have the qualities and skills to effectively manage their time and work output, working in a methodical manner and following procedures.
