Orion Group Sciences are looking for a Communications Officer for our multinational client based in the Surrey area on an initial 6-month contract with the potential to extend.
The role will support the employee communications team, specifically sourcing and developing multi-channel content, managing stakeholder requests, as well as helping with employee communications activity as advised by the Communications Lead for the UK, Ireland, Israel, Italy and Norway (UKIII) sub-region.
Specific activities include:
Support the re-launch and execution of the FY21 employee communications plan for the UKIII sub region such as:
Support leadership communication sessions
Establish and manage 'Ask management' mailbox
Support Covid-related communication
Regularly produce the monthly UKIII newsletter and maintain distribution list
Source, research, and write articles
Manage the UKIII Yammer site including regularly producing relevant copy
Support European-wide HR communication as neededTo be considered for this inhouse position you will have:
At least 12 months relevant experience gained from an inhouse or agency environment
Experience in copywriting and editing
Excellent oral and written communication skills
The ability to take your own initiative and be proactive but be a great team player at the same time
A degree in PR, communications, journalism or relevant field
Location: home-based (in current COVID-19 climate) but with ability to commute to Hersham when appropriate
Term: Initially 3 days per week for 6 months
