Year 6 (Key Stage 2) Teacher

£90.00 - £202.00 per day

September 2020 - December 2020

Vision for Education is seeking to appoint a Year 6 Teacher (KS2) to join our successful supply teaching team and to work in a local primary school in the North Tyneside area. This is a full-time primary teaching role, covering a Year 6 class. This will commence in September 2020 and will continue until December 2020.

The role

The desired Year 6 Teacher (KS2) will be working in a smaller than average size class of 29 pupils, with a wide range of ability levels. This role would be suitable for newly qualified teachers and also experienced Teachers. The school would ideally like someone who has recently taught in a Year 6 class with experience of delivering SATs interventions and lessons. The successful Year 6 teacher will be expected to plan and deliver fun and engaging Key Stage 2 lessons. This role is full time and the hours will be 08:30 - 16:00 each day.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are PGCE with QTS and recent experience within Key Stage 2 (KS2), ideally within a Year 6 class.

This is a smaller than average sized primary school which has high standards and expects the best provision for the children under its care. The pupils' behaviour is good. Expectation of behaviour is high, and results in pupils showing high levels of trust and respect to each other and to adults in school.


To be considered for the position of Year 6 (KS2) Teacher, you will:

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Have experience teaching primary education at a Key Stage 2 level.

Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of primary Teachers.

Have a passion for teaching with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons.
