My Clients currently looking for a semi-senior who has worked in a practice environment and has:
- Experience preparing year end accounts and tax computations for all types of business - Some experience with Sage desktop - Some experience with cloud software packages - Is proficient in Excel - Ideally has some experience with using Iris software for production of year end accounts and tax returns - Some experience preparing Charity Accounts would be useful - Audit experience (not essential) - Driver with own car - Will need good communication skills, written and verbal.
Work will consist of Accounts preparation in the main - covering Ltd companies, LLPs, partnerships and sole traders; then a share of some or all of the following dependent upon experience - Payroll, Bookkeeping, VAT Returns and some Management Accounts (each person in the accounts department looks after their list of clients covering these aspects). Some audit work may be involved.
The work would involve direct client contact and we train our staff to be able to deal with the complete job, not just passing onto others to complete - this would include first drafting of covering letters with accounts and commentary sent to clients.
We offer support for training for ACCA qualifications on a flexible basis with an outline budget of course costs and exam fees per year, subject to passing each paper.
Salary expectation: £20-32k, depending on experience
