This role involves working as a 1:1 teaching assistant with a pupil in a mainstream reception class. This pupil has a global development delay and requires additional support in and around the classroom. This pupil will be transitioning from nursery to reception so you will be expected to help with that transition and support the pupil academically and with their behaviour. This child sometimes struggles to behave correctly and needs a role model to show them how to behave appropriately in the classroom by reiterating school rules. This school is looking for someone who has experience working with SEN in any setting.
